Thanks for the reply! Before I tried your suggestion, I removed all my Edge extensions I didn't need, leaving only Adblock Plus, and the issue still persisted. So I removed Adblock Plus and that resolved the issue - no more crashes. I reinstalled Adblock Plus and Edge is still behaving properly. Case closed!
